The Interior Ministry is holding, in association with the International Organisation of the Francophonie and the Francopol (International Francophone Police Training) Network, a training session to develop skills of the internal security forces. One of these sessions started on September 5, at the Salambo-based Security Executives and Police Training School, on "Democratic Techniques and Securing Elections." It is due to last until September 10. Foreign experts are taking part in this training, in such fields like security, public order and democratic management of marches and public events, and the ethics of the profession. Besides, the National Guard and Civil Defence School of Bir Bouregba will organise two training sessions for the benefit of 60 National Guard executives. The first is due on September 12-16 and the second on September 19-22, 2011.
