The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Friday that at least two members of the Syrian army were killed in violent clashes with opposition forces in Jobar district, eastern the Syrian city of Damascus.
Clashes also broke out between the Syrian army and militants of the terrorist group of Daesh near the city of Madan on the borders between Deir Ez Zor and Raqqa provinces, forcing civilians to flee the area, the SOHR was quoted by Al Hurra TV news channel as saying.
The Syrian army continued to withdraw its tanks, military equipment and forces from the city of Daraa in southwestern Syria in accordance with the deescalation agreement in south Syria, the SOHR added.
