The Head of the Parliament's Human Rights Committee Mohamed Anwar el Sadat said that the committee will hold an urgent meeting on Monday to follow up the latest developments of Minya incident and the legal measures taken against the perpetrators.
In press statements on Sunday, el Sadat stressed the importance of bringing the criminals to justice away of reconciliation sessions.
Meanwhile, Sadat said that the committee will meet with Minister of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Magdy el Agaty to probe a study on Egypt's stance from the reports about human rights in the country.
The MP underlined the need of studying previous recommendations to improve Egypt's international image in the human rights domain.
