Dakota Fanning said she considered herself a very mature person, even before the age of five.
The actress told Town and Country magazine she was able to hold conversations with her mother even before she began acting at the age of five.
She said she and her mother, Joy, made the decision when she was just 5 years old to move from their hometown of Conyers, Ga., to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
Fanning is next set to appear opposite Kevin Kline in the film The Last of Robin Hood.
