Former Kuwaiti Minister of Information Sami Al-Nesif on Sunday stressed the importance of the Omani-Kuwaiti forum currently held in Muscat by the Oman journalist Association.
The forum will discusses the history of the Omani-Kuwaiti relations and the role of media in development, Al-Nesif told Kuwait News Agency on the sidelines of his participation in the event.
The forum also focuses on creating cooperation in all fields between the two countries' public and private sectors to exchange experience, he noted.
Meanwhile, the former official said that cooperation is needed between all GCC states to face recent challenges and political developments in the region.
