China is keen on fostering cooperation with Arab states in the field of manufacturing as it exports more than 220 out of 500 Chinese main industrial goods to these countries, Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Chiang Ming said on Friday. .

Delivering a speech at the inauguration of the Chinese-Arab symposium held in Beijing to boost cooperation in the manufacturing area and increase investments, he said China has made great progress in the domains of technology, railways and new and renewable energy, he added.

Trade exchange between China and Arab states increased by nine times, according to the Chinese minister.

The direct Chinese investments in Arab states rose by 122 times, he asserted.
