Former chief of the Arab League Amr Moussa asserted on Saturday that the Middle East region is in urgent need for economic integration as a key base for transition.
Moussa made the remarks in an interview with MENA reporter on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa held in Jordan's Dead Sea area.
He reiterated that integration should be taken as a "matter of fact" to go through transition.
Asked about situation in Libya, Moussa highlighted efforts exerted by the United Nations, noting "there is an opportunity for success."
Also, he warned Libya should not be seen as a 'prey' for states which have interest in its failure.
