EEDC helped change investors' image about Egypt

Minister of Supply and Home Trade Khaled Hanafy said on Tuesday the Egypt Economic Development Conference that was held in Sharm el Sheikh in March has helped to a great extent change the investors' perception about Egypt and its economy.

In his statement at the GTM Money and Finance Conference, which kicked off here earlier in the day, he added that the conference drove home a message that the political leadership in Egypt is supporting investment.

The conference, he added, helped attract several major investment companies to operate in Egypt.
