Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Juma'a has stressed the importance of his visit to Bahrain, heading an official Tunisian delegation. He said the official meetings held during the visit would yield positive results in further bolstering bilateral relations. Speaking in an interview with Bahrain TV, he expressed happiness about visiting Bahrain, asserting its importance in reflecting strong ties binding both countries. He also voiced happiness about meeting His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King and Crown Prince, and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. He said the meetings were an opportunity to inform HRH the Deputy King and HRH the Prime Minister about the overall situation in Tunisia and get informed about the situation in Bahrain. The Tunisian Prime Minister reiterated his country's condemnation of terrorism in Bahrain, stressing support to the kingdom's efforts to confront all forms of violence and terrorism. He also underlined Tunisia's efforts to fight terrorism, which infiltrated the country amid local and regional changes, emphasising Tunisia's resolve to combat all forms of extremism and terrorism. He described the upcoming Arab Summit in Kuwait as a good opportunity to meet Arab leaders, stressing that Tunisia will have a high profile participation in the summit. He hoped the summit will provide an opportunity to overcome problems between the Arab countries.
