UAE's Minister of State Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber asserted on Saturday that UAE leadership always directs to continue to support Egypt.
This came during his speech at the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) in Sharm el Sheikh.
Meetings were held after the instability that prevailed in Egypt in which we agreed on implementing a number of infrastructure projects in power, housing, food security, education, vocational training, health care and transportation fields, he said, adding that the UAE chose to contribute in these fields in order to achieve tangible results that Egyptians can witness as soon as possible.
These projects are providing 900,000 permanent and temporary jobs for Egyptians and are contributing in serving 10 million Egyptians, he further said.
Meantime, he asserted that the EEDC has succeeded in achieving its political and economic goals, adding that the conference is considered a step within a number of steps that have to be implemented to enhance and develop the Egyptian economy.
He pointed out that the recent economic and legislative reforms implemented by the Egyptian government have started to bear fruit.
