Three rockets, fired from the Syrian side, fell last night in the areas of Bekayaa and Bani Sakhr along on the Lebanese side of the Great River banks in Wadi Khaled, the National news agency (NNA) reported.
A fourth shell, also fired from the Syrian side, fall in Bani Sakhr border in Wadi Khaled, bringing the number of shells that landed in the town to four, two of which exploded near the houses, the NNA added.
The news agency quoted residents of the town as saying that the shells are accompanied by bursts of medium machine-gun, particularly in the main road, causing a danger to passing cars.
The agency indicated that the artillery shells, fired from the Syrian side, exploded on Saturday evening in the border town of Ammar al-Bikat.
