Israeli occupation forces Thursday blocked roads leading to the villages of Deir Abu Mesh’al and Beit Rima, near Ramallah, in what appears to be collective punishment step following alleged shooting at an Israeli settler’s vehicle, according to a local official.
Head of Deir Abu Mesh’al village council, Jameel Zahran, told WAFA Israeli forces sealed the main roads leading to the village and prevented residents from entering or exiting it.
Forces further closed roads leading to Beit Rima in the aftermath of the alleged shooting attempt.
Palestinians were forced to use longer and rough detours to reach nearby cities.
