Israeli bulldozers escorted by police forces demolished at an early hour on Monday, particularly after midnight, a prayer shed for Muslims in central Jerusalem.
According to Quds Press, Israeli police forces stormed overnight al-Musrara neighborhood near Bab al-Amud (Damascus Gate) in the Old City and occupied the rooftops of some houses near the prayer shed.
Afterwards, Israeli bulldozers embarked on knocking down the structure in al-Anbiyaa street and leveled it to the ground. During the demolition, a verbal altercation broke out between Palestinian citizen and policemen in the neighborhood.
The Israeli occupation authority demolished three residential structures and 12 mobile homes during the current month in Jerusalem at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
