Tehran - QNA

Iran's Defence Ministry unveiled Monday its new strategic drone "Fotros". Fotros is the biggest unmanned strategic plane in the country. Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan told reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony that the Defense Ministry’s strategy is to update its equipment, state-run (IRNA) news agency reported. Fotros is fully designed and manufactured by Iranian experts, said the minister, adding that it is also able to fly at an altitude of 25,000 feet. He added this strategic drone can be equipped with air-to-surface missiles in order to complete its military missions. Dehqan further announced that the indigenous drone has been successfully tested in the most specialized centers under the international standards.
