Israeli navy boats opened fire on Wednesday morning at Palestinian fishermen and their boats in the Mediterranean sea off Beit Lahiya city in the northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported.

Israeli occupation authorities prevented on Sunday Gaza fishermen from sailing for more than six miles in the Mediterranean, reducing the designated fishing zone off the coast of the Gaza Strip after it had been set to nine miles in April.

The occupation navy continues to deliberately target Palestinian fishermen's boats on daily basis, preventing them from fishing, confiscating their boats and arresting them.
