Clashes erupted between Israeli police and Palestinian demonstrators in Occupied Jerusalem on Friday after the burial of Martyr Mohamed Abu Khedeir.
Sources said that the occupation forces arrested at least 16 Palestinian young men in clashes which erupted after the Israeli forces assaulted the participants in the funeral.
Young Palestinian protesters threw rocks at Israeli police and were met with stun grenades after the body of Mohammed Abu Khedeir was borne through the streets and buried in the Shuafat neighborhood of Occupied Jerusalem.
Thousands of Palestinian participated in the funeral, calling on their government to stop the security arrangements with the occupation authorities.
Israeli radio claimed that Arab young men attempted to storm a security checkpoint before the police dispersed them.
