Chairman of Al Ahly football club in Egypt, Mahmoud Taher denied all rumors about receiving offers from English clubs to buy Ivorian player Sulaimani Coulibaly, confirming that Al Ahly hasn’t received any official offers since Coulibaly travelled without permission and he only received a phone call from his agent passing the player’s wish to end his contract with Al Ahly.
Taher stressed that, Al Ahly is adhering to its full rights and he will take all legal precautions after escalating the problem to the FIFA.
Sulaimani Coulibaly travelled to London without any permission from the club after the team returned from Cameroon, after the match against the Cameroonian cotton team in the African Champions League. The team members tried to reach him, until he declared that, he wanted to end his contract with Al Ahly through his agent.
