Samuel Eto'o Rome - AFP   Samuel Eto'o took a step closer to signing for Anzhi Makhachkala after Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti said Wednesday he would consider an "interesting" offer from the Russian club for the Cameroon star. The two clubs met on Tuesday and Wednesday while Eto'o's agent, Claudio Vigorelli, is alleged to have said in the Russian media that an agreement between Anzhi and the player has been all but reached. The free-spending Russian club's offer is believed to be between 20-30 million euros. "You could say the offer is interesting, intelligent, fair and reflective of the player's worth," said Moratti. "I wouldn't permit myself to comment on whether or not it's an indecent offer but you could say that it's intelligent and worthy of our player. "We will analyse it in the coming days with Eto'o and our directors." Anzhi are reported to have offered Eto'o 60 million euros over three seasons, something Italy coach Cesare Prandelli described as "scandalous". "I think Eto'o will think twice before going to Russia but the offer is scandalous," said Prandelli. Although Eto'o finished as the club's top scorer last season and helped Inter win the treble the year before, the Serie A giants are said to be pushing to sell him in order to finance a bid for Manchester City's Carlos Tevez. Makhachkala is the capital of the Caucasus republic of Dagestan, which is one of Russia's most dangerous and unstable regions. That has not stopped Brazilian World Cup winner Roberto Carlos and Russian international winger Yuri Zhirkov from joining the club -- although most of the players live nowhere near it. For security reasons, Makhachkala's players live and train in the Moscow region and fly in for home matches. In recent months the club has shown massive ambitions under new powerful owner -- oil and metals magnate Suleiman Kerimov.
