Coach of Moroccan Wydad Casablanca football team Al Hussein Amota revealed that he preferred to provide an opportunity to the players who did not participate in the previous matches of the Moroccan league. He said that the match allowed him to check the performance of other players and to prepare them for the coming matches.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he appreciates the performance of the players during the recent match, saying that they managed to achieve important win against Kawkab of Marrakesh in the framework of the Moroccan Premier League.
He added that the players performed well during the match and proved their efficiency during the last round of the Moroccan league, stressing that he intends to provide an opportunity to those players during the coming matches in the CAF Champions League.
On the other hand, he expressed his frustration for his team’s loss against Zambian team of Zanaco in the framework of the group stage of CAF Champions League.
He said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that they performed a good match, while failed to score any goals, blaming the bad playground and atmosphere for the loss. He stressed their ability to win the coming match against Egypt’s Ahly football team.
