Egyptian footballer Emad Moteb of Ahly football club revealed that no one can force him to leave the team in which he spent most of his years as a player, saying that no one can drive a wedge between him and the fans of his team.
He added, in a statement to “Egypt Today”, that the most difficult thing in his current crisis is his feeling that the team does not need him, stressing his capability to perform well and to meet the expectations of the fans in all over the Arab world.
He added that major standard upon which he will take his decision to retire or not is his performance in with the team. He added that he did not refuse to participate during the latest match in the framework of the Arab Championship, saying that he was expecting to participate as the first substitute.
He added, “It was shocking to see Waleed Azaro prepares for participating as the first substitute. The team’s administration should take its decision whether to keep me with the team during the coming season or not. I am sorry to say that there are officials inside the team do not realize the value of Emad Moteb.”
