Players hold trophy after winning WAFF ?Doha - Arab Today Qatar won the 8th WAFF Championship for men title after defeating Jordan 2-0. In the final at the Al Sadd Stadium on Tuesday, Al Arabi forward Boualem Khoukhi, who had an exceptional tournament, scored both goals. Jordan had started as the favoutites, but Qatar gave them a torrid time before Khoukhi struck in the 52nd and 81st minutes to put it beyond their reach. WAFF President Prince Ali bin Al Hussein awarded the winners in the presence of AFC chief Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa and HE Qatar Football Association President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani.
