Former Egyptian footballer Mustafa Younis expressed his pleasure for the victory Mahmoud Al Khatib achieved during the latest elections in Egypt’s Al Ahly club, saying that Khatib is considered the legend of the Egyptian football.

He said that he was one of the major supporters of Al Khatib’s electoral list during the latest elections, saying that his position came to end the differences that continued for years. He added that he decided to vote of Khatib’s list to serve the interests of the Egyptian club, saying that he does not aspire to any position inside the club.

He expressed his pleasure for winning the latest match against Al Assiuti Sport, saying that it is important win in the way to keep the Egyptian Premier League of the second consecutive year.

He said that the players were keen to perform well during the match to meet the aspirations of their fans and the board, saying that they have the serious will to win the league during the current year. He praised the performance of the competitor, saying that they attempt to perform well during the match.

He added that he plans to win all the coming matches in the championship to top the league table during the coming period. He stressed the team’s readiness for the coming match against Misr Al Makassa scheduled to be held on Sunday.
