Defender of Egypt’s Zamalek football team Islam Gamal revealed that he took a decision to leave the team during the current transfer season, blaming the team’s coach Augusto Inasio for the discriminative approach he adopts in dealing with players. He revealed that the Portuguese coach did not give him any opportunity.
He added, in a statement to “Egypt Today”, that he took his decision to leave the team due to the injustice of the team’s coach, saying that he received a number of offers from a number of Egyptian teams, while he did not decide whether to join any of them will turn to other teams outside Egypt.
He stressed that he was keen to exert his efforts during trainings, while the coach did not give him any opportunity to participate in the matches of the Egyptian Premier League, denying that he took any escalating steps against the coach.
He stressed that he was aspiring to continue with the team during the coming season, while the approach adopted against him by the coach pushed him to take the decision to leave the team during the current critical period.
