Five people died and six others were missing after a boat capsized Wednesday morning in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, local government sources said. All of the dead and missing are women, China's News Agency (Xinhua) reported. Wednesday morning, a wooden boat with 11 people aboard capsized 20 meters from the shore of the Bostan Lank in Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bayingolin, Xinjiang. Five of the 11 died on the scene, and the other six are still missing. Search for the six missing people is under way. Bostan Lake, located at the northern rim of the Tarim Basin, is the largest inland freshwater lake in China.
