More than 680 pounds of cocaine was seized in a shipment at the Port of Montreal, the Canada Border Services Agency announced Tuesday. In a release, the agency said the cocaine was found Nov. 29 in a maritime container that originated in Bolivia. The haul has an estimated street value of $14 million, the report said. The report said the shipment was composed of 13,000 1-liter bottles of sunflower oil, 1, 236 of which contained cocaine "carefully blended with a liquid substance." Border agents worked with Quebec provincial police in seizing and analyzing the bottles and the evidence is now part of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police international investigation. The CBSA said in 2010 in Quebec alone, it made 1,864 drug seizures worth more than $150 million. There was no immediate report of suspects on the sending and receiving ends.
