French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe on Tuesday strongly condemns the attack on British embassy in Tehran by a crowd of protesters. "In these unacceptable circumstances, France shows complete solidarity with Britain," the foreign minister says in a statement. "The Iranian regime has once again provided proof of lacking of consideration it has for the international law. France condemned the flagrant and scandalous violation of the Vienna Convention," Juppe added. In the statement, France held Iranian authorities responsible for the security and the integrity of all diplomatic missions in Tehran. Earlier reports said a group of Iranian protesters entered the British embassy buildings in Tehran and tearing down the flag and looted the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
