A landslide struck a quarry site in China's southern Guangxi Zhuang region, killing at least five workers and leaving 17 more missing, rescuers said Tuesday. The incident occurred Monday in the region's Luojiang village, China's state-run Xinhua news agency reported. Rescuers said the bodies of four people were retrieved from the site, while an injured person died later at a hospital. Efforts continued to find those listed as missing. The landslide came down from rain-saturated hills and buried the quarry workers in their makeshift dormitory, the report said. The landslide covered an area the size of two basketball courts, local officials said.
