Modelling agent arrested for forced prostitution

Police arrested a man in the northern city of Bologna on Wednesday for allegedly forcing girls into prostitution by posing as a modelling agent. Investigators allege that between April 2010 and May 2012 the man, who called himself Jack Onion on his Facebook profile, promised modelling and acting work to girls, including a minor, but instead sent them to appointments with clients paying for sex. The 43-year-old man reportedly earned 60,000 euros over two years through the girls' prostitution activities. From ANSA
