A policeman shot dead a 16-year-old boy here allegedly after he continued to stalk his daughter, an official said Monday. The man has been arrested. Rajendra Singh, a head constable with the Provincial Armed Constabulary, shot dead the boy on Monday in Sahawar town near here. "Preliminary investigations indicate that Rajendra shot dead the teenager in a fit of rage," Inspector S.P. Singh told reporters in Kanshiram Nagar, some 250 kilometres from Lucknow. "After noticing the teenager following his 15-year-old daughter, Rajendra initially asked him to take a different route. However, as the teenager continued to follow the girl, Rajendra had a verbal duel with the victim and later shot him dead," he added. From / Gulf News
