Former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh has deployed over 30,000 fighters in Yemen's capital Sanaa to secure celebrations, which will be held at al Sabeen square on Thursday.
Yemeni military sources told Sky News on Wednesday that the forces are stationed in the southern part of Sanaa and the headquarters of the General People's Congress, run by Saleh loyalists.
Clashes erupted between Houthis and Saleh supporters after the Houthi political bureau has criticized the General People's Congress and accused it of implementing a plan aimed at fomenting sedition in the Arab country.
