Six people were killed and 38 others were injured when a bus full of Umrah pilgrims crashed early Monday in Tafilah, 185 kilometer south of Amman, the Jordan's official news agency Petra has reported.
The victims were on their way back from Saudi Arabia, where they had performed Umrah - an extra non-mandatory Muslim pilgrimage.
Emergency teams rushed to the scene of the crash, administered first-aid to the injured and evacuated them, along with the dead, to nearby hospitals, the agency said.
