Ukraine ready to invest in joint space project with Brazil

Ukraine is ready to invest funds in a joint space project with Brazil to launch Cyclone 4 rockets from a Brazilian site, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Yezhel said on Tuesday. "Ukraine is also open to a dialogue to jointly develop a booster rocket Cyclone 5," the minister said. A Ukrainian delegation headed by Defense Minister Mykhailo Yezhel arrived in Brazil on September 26 for talks on military and space cooperation. Ukraine and Brazil set up Alcantara Cyclone Space in 2006 as part of a large-scale program to send the Cyclone-4 Launch Vehicle into space by 2012.
