Unmarried couple stoned to death in Mali

An unmarried couple in northern Mali were stoned to death in front of a crowd of 200 by Islamists, officials said. The execution took place Sunday in the city of Aguelhok, AGI reported. "I was there. The militant group has occupied northern Mali since March, officials said. Recently, Islamists have been wreaking havoc on the ancient caravan town of Timbuktu.
