El-Said met the paper’s journalists Cairo - Mohammed Mustafa The board of trustees at Egyptian newspaper al-Masry al-Youm have appointed Abdel-Moniem el-Said as a new chairman of the board. Saeed attended to press institution’s headquarters in Garden City on Saturday for meetings with trustees and editor-in-chief, Yasser Rizk. He celebrated the decision by heading to the newsroom to meet with staff and journalists on the paper. El-Said has served as a chairman of another press establishment, el-Aram, before and worked as an advisor to Qatar’s royal family between 1990-1993.
