The Jordanian photojournalist, Nader Dawood, said that the importance of photojournalism lies in supporting issues that do not accept the interpretation and explanation, it presents the image honestly, it is subject to the ethical approach.
He pointed out that photography is a type of press material; it is about a news with image to be prepared and submitted to the recipient as full story, to form a public opinion on a particular event.
The senior photojournalists contribute to provide stunning images, in which they recorded the historical moments, both in terms of coverage of wars, famines, environmental and political crises, or in the celebrations, Dawood said.
Dawood revealed, in an interview with Arabs Today, that his first interest is to spread awareness of the visual arts among the young generations, through photography, to increase the artistic taste they have.
He began working as a trainer and lecturer in the field of photojournalism for several quarters, including the TAG Foundation and Yarmouk University and Petra, in addition to his work as a consultant at the Institute for war and peace of the US Department of State.
Dawood works as a photojournalist for several local and international newspapers, as well as his working as a photographer for the American news agency in Jordan. He was joined to a number of initiatives and educational programs to train children on photography, with the aim of incorporation to create a visual culture that is part of the artistic taste that grow with their knowledge.
The Jordanian photographer noted that the successful journalistic image reflects different human activity, pointed out that the successful photographer who is looking for revolution and new angle, by stimulating new and beautiful snapshot comes through continuous training.
