The broadcasts are part of the implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as a follow up of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and under the patronage of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF) and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment.
In his remarks to Abu Dhabi Television, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, said that donations for UAE Compassion reached Dh 50 million in two days, while campaign organisers announced that total donations are nearly Dh 82 million.
