Egyptian actor Hisham Selim Cairo - Taha Hafez Egyptian actor Hisham Selim has promised that his new programme, Cairo Dialogue, set to air on the Arab channel Sky News, will be different from any other talk show. Selim told Arabstoday that before making Cairo Dilaogue, he had refused countless offers to present political shows, explaining that he did not want to be associated with a specific party. “I agreed to host this show because I liked the idea if a programme that would discuss important events happening in Cairo. Before signing on to Cairo Dialogues, I told producers at the channel not to impose any specific viewpoints,” said Selim. He admitted that he has only signed a contract lasting six months, adding that he plans to extend this if the show proves to be a success. This is the first major project for Selim, since he presented the TV series The Disappearance of Said Mahran, back in 2010.
