This drawer collection was designed by James Plumb by bringing new life to items that would have probably become just part of a pile of trash. The designer created a way of looking at old objects through the lens of modern design for creating practical furniture. Old suitcases were taken from everywhere and given another chance to surprise and delight by pairing them up with simple, metal frameworks that were customised to fit in with the different sized suitcases. Each drawer is different from the other since no one suitcase is like the other and the design was altered according to the dimensions and shapes of the vintage elements.
