Ahead of the official opening of Milan Expo 2015 tomorrow, Emirates Airline is providing a sneak peek into its private Emirates Lounge located within the UAE Pavilion.
Situated on the upper level of the UAE Pavilion, the stylishly appointed lounge covers an area of 217 square metres and includes a welcome reception area, majlis, seated lounge and five balconies, with magnificent views across the Milan Expo site.
Able to accommodate up to 60 guests at a time, it is anticipated that over 27,000 VIP guests will visit the Emirates Lounge during the course of the Expo.
"As a Premier Partner of Dubai Expo 2020, we are incredibly proud to be present within the UAE Pavilion at Milan Expo 2015. For Emirates, the ethos behind World Expo closely mirrors our own ambition of connecting people and cultures from around the globe," said H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group. "I look forward to the Emirates Lounge playing host to the many successful business connections that I am sure will be established here over the course of the next six months."
The interior of the Emirates Lounge closely reflects the modern fit out of UAE Pavilion whilst still respecting the unique culture of the UAE through ornate fixtures and decorations.
Emirates currently operates three flights per day to Milan. From Milan, Emirates' customers can also travel directly to New York thanks to the airline's daily trans-Atlantic service.
