Will Smith visits Egypt with his family
Cairo - Akram Ali

The American famous actor, Will Smith his family visited the Giza Pyramids, on Sunday morning, , accompanied by the world of the Egyptian Antiquities, Zahi Hawass, , who guided the family on a tour around the Sphinx and inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu..
He ate the breakfast in the tourist area of Giza, expressing his surprise at the Egyptian civilization.

The former minister of antiquities said that Smith and his family enjoyed admiring the sunrise on the plateau, learning about ancient Egyptian civilisation and taking photographs before the Sphinx.

Smith and Hawass have been good friends since 2006 when they were selected among Time magazine's top 100 men and women whose power, talent or moral example is transforming the world.

Smith's visit is to support tourism in Egypt and promote its archeological sites, the Antiquities Ministry said in a statement.

This is the second visit for a global figure after two weeks of visiting World Player Lionel Messi to Egypt, who visited the pyramids also on a trip to promote medical tourism, which enables Egypt to restore the tourism movement, through publishing the pictures of these global figures in the foreign press and other international channels.
