Just one year after the release of Eau d'Arômes and more than 30 years after Eau Pour Homme, the Italian luxury brand has concocted a new olfactory variation of its Eaux Pour Homme, this time directly inspired by Giorgio Armani's iconic jackets. Eau de Cèdre will hit stores later this summer.
This new masculine and virile scent by Giorgio Armani draws its inspiration from the scent of a man's velvet jacket, which is soft, delicate and elegant. These traits can be found throughout the ingredients used in the creation of the eau de parfum.
The characteristic scent of Eau de Cèdre conveys the softness of velvety material and starts the composition with lemon oil and Italian bergamot, followed by the aromatic scent of sage mixed with violet leaves and caraway, along with a hint of "Cardamom Pure Jungle Essence." The fragrance's masculine notes originate from essences of cedar, black tea, woody chords and suede.
All of the bottles in Armani's Eaux Pour Homme line are inspired by men's jackets and cut to resemble their lines. The elegant and characteristic flacon for Eau de Cèdre is made of dark green glass which represents green cedar.
Eau de Cèdre joins a fragrance line that already includes Eau Pour Homme, inspired by the flowing and deconstructed jacket; Eau de Nuit, which pays tribute to the tuxedo jacket; and Eau d'Arômes, an ode to casual chic.
This fourth fragrance will be available starting late August in stores that sell Giorgio Armani Beauty. Eau de Cèdre will be available as 50ml bottle.
