Limited-edition line will be available until August Dubai - Arab Today Italian designer Giorgio Armani is set to launch a line of luxury chocolates especially for the Muslim holiday of Ramadan. The limited-edition boxes of chocolate pralines are alcohol-free and filled with dried fruits and honey, infused with saffron and cardamom, and decorated in emerald green sugar, reports gourmet food blog Fine Dining Lovers. Bonbons come in gold-wrapped boxes decorated in geometric shapes inspired by Arabic art and will be sold in Armani Dolci shops across the Middle East including Kuwait City, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Malaysia as well as New York and Milan. The limited-edition line will be available from July 1 to through late August. Ramadan kicks off July 9. Traditionally, the day-long fast which begins at dawn and ends at sunset is broken by Iftar foods such as dried fruits like dates, hard-boiled eggs and sweets. Gourmet boutique Forrey Galland at The Dubai Mall is also expected to launch a special line of Ramadan chocolates as it did last year when it created chocolate-covered meringues in flavours like date, pistachio, rose, orange blossom and cardamom, as well as apricot, pistachio and orange-flavoured financiers.
