A long time personal friend of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the 47 year-old joins existing faces Scarlett Johansson and Felicity Jones to evoke the glamour and femininity of the brand. Currently starring in the brand's spring/summer 2012 advertising campaign, Bellucci said: “I'm delighted to be collaborating with Domenico and Stefano. I've always adored the aesthetic of Dolce & Gabbana and it's so exciting to be involved with their creative process". The Monica Lipstick Collection celebrates “her remarkable magnetism” according to a press release, and will be available for a limited time only. Explaining the collaboration further, the release states: “With her famed fulsome lips, impeccable complexion and daring, expressive eyes she exudes the irony, mystery and charm that comprises the very essence of the Dolce&Gabbana woman”. Famed for her sensuality and voluptuous curves, Bellucci also posed for her fellow countrymen in their Spring 2012 campaign for their ready-to-wear collection.
