The 2012-13 Cruise collection Dubai - Arabstoday This weekend Chanel opened its new shoe boutique at the Level Shoe District in the Dubai Mall. Designed by acclaimed architect Peter Marino, the boutique brings together three elements that represent the very essence of Chanel: luxury, elegance and modernity. Customers are welcomed in to a plush interior featuring a classic colour palette of black, white and gold. Bespoke carpets accentuate touches of ebony marble and in the VIP lounge area, bronze furnishings twinkle in the dazzling reflection of a Goossens chandelier. The two-tone shoe is one of the icons of Chanel that has been revered and adored by women since its creation in 1957 by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. The two-tone toe remains a symbol of refined taste and heavenly comfort. More recent additions to the brand’s shoe collection come from the marvelous mind of Karl Lagerfeld. In store now at the Dubai Mall you’ll find this season's Cruise 2012-13 shoe collection, including the offbeat flat-form metallic creepers that featured in Karl’s incredible Cruise collection catwalk at Versaille.
