Arab Speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al Salami, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the successful parliamentary and municipal elections, noting the unprecedented popular turnout reaching 67%.

The speaker of the Arab Parliament hailed Bahrain’s successful democratic polls that reflect the citizens confidence in the State’s institutions, and freedom to elect their parliamentary representatives (MPs) and municipal councilors.

He said this success reflects huge popular support to the reforms led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and expresses of the people’s rejection of external meddling in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s internal affairs.
