Crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed Sunday his condolences to Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for worshippers killed and injured in crane accident in Mecca's mosque last Friday.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy for the victims who died in the accident at Makkah's Grand Mosque where a crane collapsed, causing 107 worshippers died and 238 others wounded, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
The report further noted that the Abu Dhabi crown prince "prayed to god to grant souls of the deceased rest in peace and forgiveness, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery."
The Saudi King Salman, who also bears the title "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques," expressed his thanks to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan for his fraternal feelings concerning the ordeal.
