Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit condemned in the strongest terms Sunday's terrorist blast inside Botroseya (St Peter and St Paul's) church in Cairo's Abbasiya district that left 25 persons dead and 49 others injured.
In statements from Bahrain where he is participating in the Manama Dialogue, the AL chief voiced the Arab League's full solidarity with Egypt and the whole Arab world in their fight against terrorism that claimed the lives of many innocent persons.
Abul Gheit also offered his deep condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
He expressed trust in the Egyptians' ability to defeat this evil by all means.
