A source at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Houthis' firing of a ballistic missile against the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, Tuesday which aimed at terrorizing civilians, KUNA reported.
"This cowardly act shows anew how the Houthis were defying the will of the international community, violating the UN resolutions, and undermining security and stability of the region," the source said.
"Kuwait stands fully behind Saudi Arabia and supports all measures aimed at preserving security and stability.
Kuwait, he added, was committed to supporting the legitimate leadership in Yemen," the source added.
Also, Yemen strongly condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi militia's attack on of Riyadh.
"This aggressive behavior of targeting Saudi Arabia with ballistic missiles reflects the extent of the danger that this extremist group has become and the level to which Iranian influence has reached it, which seeks to be used to harm regional and Arab security after helping them to cause massive destruction in all the Yemeni cities and towns that were invaded by the militias," the Saudi Press Agency quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying in a statement.
The statement called on the international community, sponsoring countries and the Security Council to take strict measures against Houthi militia and consider them as a terrorist organization and hold accountable Iran and the forces supporting these bloody militias.
