The Arab Women Organization (AWO) on Monday decried the the terrorist attack that rocked Boutroseya Church in Cairo Sunday and left scores dead and injured.

AWO Director General Ambassador Mervat el Tellawi, in a statement, expressed sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, stressing that such heinous crimes are rejected by all faiths.

She called the Arab society to rally efforts to uproot all forms of terrorism. 

On Sunday, 25 people were killed and 49 others injured when a bomb went off inside El Boutroseya Church adjacent St. Peter & St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church in Cairo’s Abbassiya district.
