Bahrain denounced the terrorist bombing that took place in the city of Quetta in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of people. It affirmed support to Pakistan in its war against violence, extremism and terrorism and extends its support for the measures taken to maintain its security and stability for the safety of its citizens and residents in its territory.
The Foreign Ministry stressed the stance, expressing its sincere condolences to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured by this criminal act of terrorism.
It also reaffirmed Bahrain’s stance against violence, extremism and terrorism, whatever its motives and justifications, and called for the need to strengthen international cooperation in order to ensure combating those who seek to undermine international peace and security.
